From Child's Eye

Hello! I'm Jai. I'm 7 years old. Today, I visited Shanti Niketan English School along with my younger sister Tanvi. She is 4 years old. Here's the story of my visit:

We entered the school through an open gate and there were lots of trees and plants. It looked different from the other school which had a big gate, a big building.

Over the green hedge, I could see some swings and rooms. The rooms looked hidden between the trees.

As we passed the lawn, we could see the office. Papa said we will meet a teacher who was waiting for us.

I entered the room and this was different! No lines of tables and chairs. There were so many things I could work with - maths models, science tools, a reading corner. It would be great to be in such a class!.

Tanvi's class was equally colorful and full of activities. She just left Papa's hand and ran inside to work with all the different puzzles and read the different books!

After we were done, we played for sometime on the swings and climbed on the playgym. We just didn't want to go back from the school!

Then we went to the 2nd block and saw that part of the school which had the computer lab and the library.

Lots of computers to learn from. I can search things from the internet and make projects too!

Lots of interesting books to read for both me and Tanvi.

There was a giraffe outside the office! And Tanvi and I played around, checking our height. I am 123 cms and Tanvi is 98 cm :).
